Wraparound Care at Hertford Prep
Hertford Prep are proud to offer an extended day offering through our Sunrise Breakfast Club and Sunset After School Club.
Sunrise Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club is available to all children from 7.30am until 8.30 am. Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 8.15am. Breakfast will not be served after this time. The Breakfast Club cost is £5 per session. Please be aware that any children arriving at school before 8.30am will be placed in Breakfast Club and charged accordingly.
Sunset After School Club
After School Care is available between 3.30pm and 6.00pm.
All children may have a snack at 4pm with tea served from 5.10pm.
From 3.30pm until 4pm, the service is free to all Early Years (Kin/Nur/Rec) and Infant (Y1+2) children who have siblings in the Juniors.
For all other Early Years and Infant children i.e. with no siblings in the Juniors, the charge for 3.30pm to 4.00pm is £2.50.
After School Care from 4pm to 6pm is charged at £2.50 per half hour. Prep Club children (in the old Art Room/ICT Suite) can either be collected at 5pm or will return to After School Care, if required.
Please Note: Children that have not been collected 10 minutes after the end of the school day will be placed in After School Care and parents will be charged accordingly.
Further Details
Booking
We aim to be as flexible as possible to ensure that the children’s needs are met in a safe, relaxed and caring environment. It is really helpful if you can give as much notice as possible if you require before or after school care.
Booking In Advance
Should you know your requirements in advance, please complete the forms which are available to download from the school website or email the School Office on office@hertfordprep.org.uk. Please inform your class teacher of your arrangements. Booking on the Day (Pre School/Infant Children) For Early Years and Infant children, there is also the option of completing the daily After School Care Form displayed in your child’s classroom.
Cancellations
Please let the School Office know as soon as possible should you wish to cancel your child’s place.
Billing
You will receive a weekly summary of your bookings and you will be billed half-termly. Please note that there is no provision after 6.00pm. If staff have to stay because the children are collected after this time, then parents will be charged a late payment fee of £25 per child.
