Pupil Spotlight: Joe R

Meet Joe G! We caught up with Joe to talk about his love for netball, passion for maths, and what he’s most excited for this year!

Tell us about yourself:

I’m Joe. I would think of myself as a kind, enthusiastic and busy person, because I love to keep myself busy.

Are you involved in any clubs? What do you enjoy most about them?

Outside of school, I do horse riding twice a week, I absolutely love horses. I do swimming in Welwyn Garden City, netball club at school, and I sing in a choir.

What is your favourite Subject?

PE, I really live netball and swimming.

Academically, maths is my favourite. I love working my mind, it’s fun when you know the method.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

Our School play. I think it could be Wicked because Mrs Barnham loves Wicked. If it is, I’d want to be the Wizard.

How have you shown kindness this week?

I gave my older brother a PS5 controller – he was very grateful.

What is the most adventurous thing you’ve done?

I have ridden crazy horses, they did not seem to have much common sense, they were all over the place.
